Justin Bieber’s fans are not too happy about recent paternity suit, said by a fans, but also mentioned that those kinds of doubt or problem are just part of being a worldwide celebrity.

"It's pretty crazy. People make up false accusations. It's gonna happen, being in the spotlight," Bieber, 17, said Tuesday on CBS's Late Show with David Letterman.

Letterman commiserated with Bieber, saying he "saw red" when he heard about the accusations, adding: "I could smell a weasel."

Bieber's reply? "I can smell a weasel, too."

Bieber also confirmed on the show that he took a paternity test to prove he isn't the father of Mariah Yeater's baby. Asked what the test involved, Bieber said the doctors just swabbed his mouth.

"Is there disrobing?" Letterman asked jokingly. Bieber replied: "No, no, I don't think so!"

Teenager Justin Bieber has taken a DNA test to put an end to all the allegations made by Mariah Yeater for the disagreement over his fathering a child. After the reports of the results, Bieber may even take legal action aginst Yeater.

Mariah Yeater, 20, had hit headlines earlier this month after sensationally claiming the singer had had a fling with her following a Los Angeles concert last year, Contactmusic reported and in a bid to put the rumours to rest, the Baby hitmaker voluntarily took a DNA test on November 18.

"(He) doesn't mind. He's like, 'I'm just going to go ahead... (with) it and be fine,'" said Scooter Braun, Bieber's manager.

While Yeater had recently dropped the lawsuit, she also wanted Bieber to go through the paternity test.

Mariah's lawyer Jeffery M Leving had told ContactMusic taht “Mariah believes Justin Bieber is the father. We’re trying to secure a private DNA test, because this case is out of control.”

Recently, there was also news of an SMS Yeater sent out to a friend which implied that someone else was the father of her kid.

The message reported by TMZ read: "Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbie's son. I'll kick u when we get paid. I'm trusting you pleeease. (Mariah Laci)." Where Robbie is Mariah's ex-boyfriend and Laci is her middle name.
